    Supporting Your Child's Emotional Wellbeing

Give Your Child the Tools They Need to Thrive

As parents, we all want our children to feel happy, confident and secure. But in today’s fast-paced world, many children experience stress, anxiety and overwhelming emotions. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, difficulty focusing or big emotions, our sessions will help them develop the strategies they need to be the most confident version of themselves.

    Big Feelings Are Normal

As parents, it’s natural to want to protect our children from discomfort, anxiety, and big emotions. But the truth is, experiencing these feelings is a normal and essential part of childhood development.

Young children are still learning how to manage their emotions. Their brains are developing rapidly, particularly in the areas responsible for self-regulation, impulse control, and problem-solving. This means they will:

✔ Feel emotions intensely and sometimes struggle to express them
✔ Have meltdowns over things that seem small to adults
✔ Need support in learning how to calm down and self-soothe

This is completely normal. Your child is not being "difficult"—they are learning.

You can help them by letting them explore these emotions in our friendly group classes. By learning to name and tame big feelings and discover fun reflection techniques, your child can grow up more confident in themselves.

We offer regular sessions which run for 5-10 week terms and cover a wide range of themes and strategies. Occasionally we have space left in our classes in which case we offer these spots as one-off sessions which can be booked individually. We also run special school transition classes during the summer for those making the step up into a new primary or secondary school. Please check the bookings page to see what we have coming up near you!
